We offer free consultations for hair transplants. A consultation is important for us to be able to help you in the best possible way. Before your consultation you will be asked to answer a few simple questions about your health, this information then forms the basis of the consultation. Once at the consultation, we go through your conditions in peace and quiet.

Technology has advanced and we now offer online consultation to long-distance clients. 

During the consultation, there will be several questions to consider:

• Your physical needs and possible limitations
• Your emotional needs and mental attitude
• Your concerns
• Your expectations
• Your budget
• Your time

The counsellor has a comprehensive discussion with the patient to understand their medical needs. The process begins by designing the available treatment options according to the patient's specific needs and wishes. It is very important to identify exactly what the patient wants to do.

The patient will also complete a medical questionnaire. This is to inform the doctor of any risks or conditions that may be necessary to know before the operation.

Although most procedures are of a minor nature, the doctor may need to consult medical records, photos, etc. To facilitate this process, we ask the patient to provide medical records, documents or photos in advance.

It is important to know and understand the patient's expectations of the outcome in order for the doctor to determine whether the desired outcome is achievable. It is important that the patient's expectations are in line with what is realistic and achievable.

The patient is then given a quote for the treatment and an operation date is agreed upon.

Any questions about the surgery will be answered by the consultation manager, either by email, in person or by phone.

The patient pays an advance to Akacia Medical AB's bank account, after which the operation is confirmed.
The remaining amount is paid 14 days before the operation.
